Houston TX- The Red Carpet was set Saturday evening February 20th at the relaunch of Houston based entertainment leader Ms Cat TV. Founder Ms Cat is an innovative visionary who has set the bar high for Houston's local entertainment industry and provided a platform for Houston's Rising Stars. The event highlighted what’s next for the production company, and put the spotlight on local entertainment industry talent.

Ms Cat TV celebrated its relaunch with a Black History initiative the “Houston’s Rising Stars” awards honoring visionaries who are contributing to the growth of Houston's independent media movement. These includes Jeffrey L. Boney, "Associate Editor for the Houston Forward Times", Frederick Alanzo, director of “When Daddy Got Saved” and “Signed, Sealed & Delivered… Jesus I’m Yours”, Amber Neal, award-winning executive producer and host of “A Match Made in Houston” and Marcus Sullivan, digital content producer and high school sports reporter at FOX 26, Richard Walker,founder and president of EPIQ FILMs,and Dawn Paul, producer and host of “The Break of Dawn”. The evening also brought out a few of Houston's top business leaders, Lonnie Mathews director of Alliance Financial Ministries , and Karen Carter Richards publisher and editor at Houston Forward Times just to name a few.

The Awards showcased the Legacy of African Americans in the Entertainment Industry and City Council Member Dwight A. Boykins of District D endorsed a Certificate on February 22, 2016 saluting Ms Cat TV and "Houston's African Americans in Entertainment" day.

Award winning PR firm ThinkZilla PR and Consulting spearheaded the Public Relations aspect of the re launch and managed media, red carpet, and event flow.
