New Year’s resolution #3: Always bring your guitar, no matter what the ride. Singing to my sweetie Michele while cruising on our lovely camels under Morocco’s blue desert skies. For some strange reason, this song came to mind: Duke Ellington’s ‘Caravan’. Just seemed like the right song to play. (Michele’s camel was named Bob Marley by the way, so you know what we sang next).

Chanter pour ma douce Michele en traversant le désert marocain à dos de chameau sous un ciel d’un bleu éclatant… Pour une raison étrange, une chanson m’est venue en tête: Caravan de Duke Ellington. Ça semblait juste être le morceau parfait à jouer.
(Au fait, le chameau de Michele s’appelait Bob Marley, alors vous devinez quelle chanson on a chantée ensuite. 😉)
