"Light of Nibel" (feat. Multiplayer Sinfonia) | Ori and the Blind Forest

Hi there! This is my track for the Multiplayer II: Co-Op VG Charity Album--a symphonic cover of "Light of Nibel" from Ori and the Blind Forest, composed by Gareth Coker.

I fell in love with Ori from the first few minutes of playing this game. It's unlike any I've played before--from its beautiful scenery to the super fun platforming to the wonderfully crafted soundscape, Ori and the Blind Forest is one of the most fun experiences I've played in recent history. For this year's Multiplayer charity album, I felt that working on one of the pieces from Ori would be a perfect fit, and I eventually settled on the final piece of the game, "Light of Nibel", seeing as it seems to be the musical denouement of Ori's journey. The theme for this year's album was that of teamwork and collaboration, so I enlisted the help of several extraordinarily talented musicians to help breathe some new life into this piece. - The Concept of Multiplayer: "Multiplayer II: Co-Op" is a collaborative video game music album, the musical successor of "Multiplayer: A Tribute to Videogames", combining the work of over 50 musicians worldwide and cultivated from friendships across the internet. Multiplayer II's collection of video game music spans the past twenty years of gaming, featuring the music styles of jazz, progressive metal, electronica, funk, classical duets and much more. Like its predecessor, all profits generated from album sales go directly to Child's Play Charity Network. However, Multiplayer II carries with it a new theme: that of teamwork and collaboration.

What you'll be listening to in these 26 unique tracks are not individually-made songs, but amazing concoctions of new friends, polar opposite musical styles, and even full-fledged bands working in unison. Every piece has the magic of another person; through this theme of collaboration, we have truly created one of the most unique collections of video game remix work around.
