2021 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX Review

The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX offers a sports-touring package that bears some resemblance to the brand's WSBK winning ZX-10R, but in reality is it's own motorcycle, with a focus on comfort, long distance touring and of course built around a rewarding four-cylinder.

Priced at $19k on the road as tested, the Ninja 1000 SX is a great blend of technology and value, with traditional suspension, quality of life features like cruise control, adjustable screen and levers, an eye catching dash and easy to use electronics system.

If you're interested in racking up the miles, but don't want to go full tourer, the Ninja 1000 could be the bike you're looking for, being suitable for everyday riding when you don't want to load up the luggage or pillion and head away somewhere distant.

The super smooth engine also really benefits from a quickshifter, making for an extra engaging and fun experience, with the use of the clutch largely optional once moving, well suiting the linear four.
