La Fleur Gazin 2017 Pomerol Bordeaux Premium Wine Review

Описание к видео La Fleur Gazin 2017 Pomerol Bordeaux Premium Wine Review

Chateau La Fleur Gazin was owned by the Delfour-Borderie family. It was farmed and managed by Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1976 and subsequently sold to ETS Moueix in 2021.

The winery is situated on the northern edge of the plateau of Pomerol between Château Gazin and Château La Fleur-Pétrus. The vineyard (averaging 30 years of age), is planted on soils varying from gravel to clay to silt. The winery is 8.5 hectares in size and is planted 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. About 3.500 cases is produced each year.

For some reason, this winery makes lighter wines compared to its neighbors.

The 2017 vintage is 100% Merlot and was aged 16-20 months in French oak barrels (25-40% new).

Sorry, this was not my best effort in terms of a video. I was a little disorganized in terms of my comments and I don't think I had my mic in the right position.
