In this playlist, we are going to cover Amartya Sen's seminal book, Collective Choice and Social Welfare. A very important book on social choice theory, it was also one of the primary reasons for his Nobel Prize in 1998. The book is fairly mathematical, and can be followed only if you have a good grasp of set theory, relations, and functions.

In the first video, we discussed the logistics of the course and introduced basic notions of set theory. You may read the first couple of chapters of the book for this. We have not done any math yet.
