This is a high level walk-through of the theoretical steps one needs to obtain ETH and GoerliETH.

When you stake ETH on Ethereum there are real funds involved. You can lose real money. Therefore, it is important to test what you are doing before embarking on this journey. That is what GoerliETH is for. One doesn't have to buy real ETH but can obtain GoerliETH without spending real money and test everything before investing in this technology.

When I talk about "Mainnet" and "ETH" it means that there is REAL money at stake. When I refer to "Goerli", "Prater" or "Testnet" it means that there is NO real money at stake. This is the way to test everything without being at risk of losing real money.
