Honda has introduced its Rebel 300 E Clutch system, allowing riders to start and stop without using the clutch while still keeping a traditional gearbox feel. A quickshifter style system with the option to switch back to manual clutch control raises interesting questions about the future of beginner motorcycles.

Harley owned LiveWire reported increased sales in 2025, but with only around 1,000 bikes sold and a reported 75 million dollar loss, the electric motorcycle market still faces serious challenges.
