Here I will show you what the professionals use, Key Level Placements.

This is how I would start looking at a chart from scratch starting with Monthly and Weekly Key Levels to getting into an entry. Have fun!

Monthly and weekly key levels are the largest type of Support/Resistance is on the Monthly/Weekly time frames. Key Levels help get a broad look of the market. The larger time frames can help build a better case of what may happen on the lower time frames.

Start of by finding a foundation with support and resistance on the monthly.

Looking for "Touches", "Gaps", "Overlaps".
Next, make the range no more than 1000 Pips for slower pairs like AU and no more than 1400 Pips for faster pairs like GU.
Next, use that range to find Zone 1 and 2 above and below using the same pip range as the foundation found.
Weekly levels will be based on half of the range found from the monthly range.
Place weekly in between monthly's.
