These boards include Punjab (Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, D.G.Khan), Azad Jammu & Kashmir (Mirpur), Islamabad (Federal), KPK (Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Malakand, Swat, D.I.Khan), Sindh (Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad), and Balochistan (Quetta).
All those Boards who have announced their Matric are/or Intermediate Results of 1st Annual Examination 2022 have allowed students to apply for rechecking/retotaling within 15 days after the announcement of Results. Those students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for rechecking/retotaling online from their relevant board's official website. The Board charges fee for rechecking of one paper and the fee is refunded in case the marks increase or decrease.
Almost after 40 days of announcement of board exams result, 2nd annual examinations are conducted. Punjab Board, Federal Board, KPK Boards and Balochistan Board have announced the schedule of 2nd annual examinations of Matric (9th & 10th).
It is very likely that the result of 2nd annual board exams shall be accepted for the admission in medical colleges, engineering Universities and various institutions. The Senate Standing Committee of Health has proposed that MDCAT must be postponed for at least 2 months due to the floods and the miserable condition of the people especially the students. But, PMC is willing to start MDCAT from 14 September. If MDCAT is delayed, the admission procedure in medical colleges would also be postponed and meanwhile the result of 2nd annual examination would be announced and thus, accepted for the admissions in medical and dental colleges of Pakistan.
