A creepy man began to touch Jess in the elevator. She looked to her boyfriend, Steve, for assistance. But he just smiled at the stranger and told Jess not to blow the incident out of proportion. The couple soon left the elevator. And once they were alone, before Jess could question Steve’s earlier behavior, he began to shout at her for “seducing another man” with her provocative looks. 

Even though Jess disagreed with Steve, from that day, she began to wear extremely modest outfits. But her boyfriend continued to criticize her. This time for looking “like a dude”.
