Since its inception, Empower Her Network (EHN) has sought to expand philanthropic support surrounding the services available to trafficking survivors. The prevailing paradigm is that assistance ends as soon as a survivor achieves basic stability. But societal barriers remain, failing to provide long-term solutions and leaving many survivors cycling through aftercare programs again.

Every survivor who achieves fiscal independence is in a much better position to protect their children, ending generational cycles of poverty and exploitation. In this lightning talk, we’ll share ways your collective giving group can best support survivors by giving time, talent and treasure.
