Alternative Politics means different things to different groups. For AAP, it means: no bribes to facilitate government work. To the old CPs, it meant "dictatorship of the proletariat", To the MKSS is predominantly means that Right to Information on various subsides and entitlements, whic then would lead to better implementation of these benefits.. and so on.
Each group believes that their particular issue is the key to change that they desire.

Politics of the Alternatives, is however a further analysis of the various proposal being put forward by various groups. For example: AAP has realised that it is not sufficient to run Mohalla Clinics, and improving goverment schools. under It works wonders, but is constantly threat. The CPs realise that the industrial working class is privileged, and "wage" looking. Some like SMD speak about toiling peoples, or people physically engaged with useful production, and therefore you have the attempt like the Baliarja Dam process.
