Plastic Welding of Polypropylene enclosure - In this video a small PP electronic enclosure is being welded to a backing plate (also PP), using the Techspan Rion plastic welding tool. A red welding rod is used simply so you can see the welding rod clearly. Firstly, a tacking nozzle is used to 'Tack' the enclosure to the backing sheet. Then a Speed Welding Nozzle is used to run the main welding rod. The results provide a low cost way of providing a 'water tight' weld.
