"Sacrifice and Bliss" is the second single off "The Nir-Death Experiment",
written by my 16 year old son, Haim.
Lyrically, the theme is Joseph Campbell's comparative
mythology so the serpent represents life, not sin.
My life at the time of writing the lyrics was about dealing
with a divorce.
To me, this forced divorce was by far, the most terrible
experience in my 48 years of existence.
Writing this song and later on, the entire album was my
way of dealing with this loss.
