NETFLIX's "The King" vs The True Story of King Henry V | Flick Connection

"The King" (2019) is a Netflix Original movie about King Henry V, but it has a lot more in common with Shakespeare's Henry V than the actual historical accounts of King Henry. So, I explain the differences between the real history and what is seen in the movie including how Henry became King despite the fact that he was far removed form the throne at birth.

King Henry V would go on to be remembered as one of the great Kings of England and "The King" does a great job of bridging the gap between the Shakespeare play and the true story of King Henry V.
