S1 – Ep 461 – Ladybrand, Free State!

Both of us were eagerly anticipating our visit to Ladybrand. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we wasted no time and immediately began exploring the town. Our attention was quickly drawn to the plethora of sandstone buildings that adorned the streets. Among our discoveries were a number of churches and the station. Although no longer operational, its architectural charm remained intact. By sheer luck, we stumbled upon two long-standing war memorials, adding unexpected depth to our experience.
