Chicks have graduated to pullets.
Keets have gone missing.
Bottle calves have been weaned.
Betty and Bernard are still contained in our pasture.
Garden is complete, but not growing!
And I have COVID, but thats the least of my concerns. LOL

Raising chickens has been fairly easy for us and mostly low maintenance, especially during the warm months because they're true free range. The bottle calves were a bit of a struggle early on due to scours, but I've since become more comfortable raising them the more that I'm around them. The dogs have been a challenge in the past to keep contained, but I think we finally found the solution, albeit still not ideal since they aren't able to protect our entire property. And lastly, the garden was highly anticipated this year with the new layout and use of garden fabric, but it has so far been a HUGE disappointment since nothing is flourishing as it has for us in years past. With summer feeling like it's almost halfway over already, we still seem far from reaching our first harvest of anything!
