She Wears My Ring By Gehan Gunasekera

On the 21st Of July some years ago, My precious Judy and I were married in the Presbyterian Church in Griffith NSW, on the 22nd whilst palying in the Band known as the Drifters, we played at the Lake Cargellico Bowling Club, on our Honeymoon. This is the song I sang to Judy at 9pm on stage, as my dedication and tribute to this wonderful, beautiful girl, who still is by my side.
The song is based on a classic tune "La Golondrina", and the english lyrics were written by Felice & Bouleaux Bryant. I fisrt heard this song in 1968 sung by Solomon King. Since then it has been recorded by many.
