Just a very brief check-up on these unreliable lifts! On the day of recording, all 4 lifts were working which was a shocker. These lifts run at a very reasonable speed of 1.75m/s, and makes them some of the fastest lifts in Dublin. When you listen on the 5th floor, the motors sound very interesting and not something you'd expect from an Otis lift! Originally from 1981, modernized in the 1990s with Otis Europa2000 styling and a custom ACU unit, they were modernized in 2012 with Otis's mod kit. They misted over the glass in the glass lifts during this mod too.
