I had a Kia Sportage with a failed 2.4L Theta 2 engine come into the shop. I sent it to the dealer and it was replaced under warranty.  In this video I show you what to look and listen for to give you warning that your engine is failing. These tips work on any motor not just the Kia and Hyundai Theta 2 engines. I also tell you what you can do to keep your chances of getting your failed engine replaced under warranty good. I also explain what causes the Theta 2 engines to fail at a higher rate than other engines. What are these tips? Watch and find out.
