This is my first game with the new lethality items, and sadly I only get to build one due to how the game played out. The good news is that I build the Duskblade and get to show how strong this thing is, and probably why it will get nerfed in the near future.

Otherwise, yes, this is the third Nocturne game in a row, but I figured the best way to showcase the changes is with someone I am very familiar with. And as you might have guessed, with the items in their current form, AD assassin is the way to play Nocturne. The goal is to build as many ways to penetrate armor as possible, and get some CDR while doing it. Black Cleaver is extremely handy against most tanks and is just a really good first buy, which is why I get it there. Afterward, Duskblade is the king of lethality items at the moment, so I want that one next, which now gives CDR, CC, and a bigger chunk of burst. From there, you can get Ghostblade, which will give you movement speed to get in position or run some targets down, but it is optional. Should tanks be the threat on the enemy team, I would recommend getting a Last Whisper item instead. As for life steal, since the objective is to burst down a target, we want as much AD as possible, which is why I am running a Bloodthirster. Overall, I think the Edge of Night is too situational right now for Nocturne, but if you have to worry about CC, it might be worth picking up. Still, a Scimitar may be better.

With the resurgence of the lethality ADCs, Nocturne is even more buffed than normal. All of them are immobile, meaning you can hop on them and burst them before they have a chance to react. It is possible to do this to the AD mids too, but generally they have some way to escape, so this is not as easy.

I am thinking about abusing the lethality in the near future and taking Nocturne back into solo queue. Those games may not get uploaded, but I'll try to show what happens when I can't play him or get on my off role. Basically, it is now an awesome time to be the spook.
