The Quad Queen is BACK! Ashley Castleberry @legslikeashley visits the CriticalBench Compound to show off her amazing thighs. Coach Chris discusses two really effective bodyweight exercises that anyone can do to stimulate and grow those thigh muscles.

The VMO or Vastus Medialis Oblique is the leg locking muscle that sits just above the knee joint. It's also called the Tear Drop Muscle. This area of the leg can be underdeveloped on some athletes and these two exercises can help to accentuate that area of the body.

The Wall Sit is just another terrific equipment free exercise that has long been a leg burner implemented by trainers to clients on leg day. Such an easy way to connect the mind to the muscles and deliver a MONSTER burn with absolutely no resistance or machines.

Do these two moves at the beginning of your workout to stimulate the muscles surrounding the knee OR mix them in with your routine to help bring blood flow and a terrific pump to those thighs.

Having a strong lower body is vital for overall health as we age. Numerous studies have shown that people are able to live independently for longer and perform those tasks that make up the bulk of their daily activities better if they maintain robust strength in their lower body.

-Hold each position for 10, 20, 30 secs or more | Rest for 3-5 secs in between and REPEAT!
-Do as many Rounds as you like to Stimulate Growth and WAKE UP those Thigh Muscles!
