You can timestamp on a long YouTube video for quick access to particular topic. In YouTube, you can easily create many links to a specific time. Let’s see how we can do it.

1. Open YouTube.com, and search for a video in which you want to do the timestamp.
2. From the search result, click on a video to play it.
3. Click on Pause button on a selected duration, and right-click in the video window.
4. From the drop-down menu list, click on the Copy video URL at the current time.
5. Now, go to your Facebook page, and click What’s on your mind?
6. Paste copied YouTube video link here, to post it.
7. You can send the video link by email, to do so, click on the Compose button.
8. Paste copied YouTube video link.
9. If you will see the video URL carefully then you will notice that at the end of the URL there is a time duration mentioned of the video.
10. Like the last digits in this URL is14 that mean we have copied this video link at 14 seconds duration.
11. We can create a link of the video on a specific time in the comments section.
12. For example, I paused this video at 1:48 seconds.
13. Click below in the comment area and type the selected duration 1:48 and then write a little brief about the mentioned time frame that what is happening at this duration of the video.
14. Similarly, note the different time duration of the video and write down in the comment box.
15. When you will click on the Comment button, then YouTube will create links on the mentioned time duration.
16. User can click on these links, and these timestamp links in a video will help user to quickly access the specific topic of the video.
