Hi Everyone,
I'm Paul-Dean Martin, the Program Director for the PDM Young Actors Workshop. Due to the Covid lockdowns, we were forced to stop our youth theatre productions for over two years. But, while we cannot perform and fund our program, we still have bills to pay like our storage units, which house our sets, costumes, lighting and audio equipment, and our online hosting services. After two years we have lost our leases on our rehearsal venues and need to find new facilities. We had hoped to use the funds from our summer workshops at Saddleback College to create a fresh nest egg for the theatre. Unfortunately, four days into our classes, the college has reimplemented covid protocols and will not allow us to perfrom for friends and family, thus canceling our entire summer program. WE NEED YOUR HELP. We are feverishly working to restart our shows, but we will be starting from scratch. PLEASE donate today and support the rich 30-year history of the PDM Young Actors Workshop, supporting the kids of LA, Orange and Riverside Counties. During the shutdown, we used all of our remaining funds to stay current on our bills. At this moment we don't owe anyone anything but as of August first a new set of bills come in. We have been responsible and thrifty with our funds during this 2 year shutdown and hope you will help us out. We never take funds that are not explicitly targeted for a project. He had a go fund me to expand our stage before the pandemic, but when the shutdown occurred, we returned all the funds raised to the donors who gave them.
