Arunachal Pradesh: Massive rock blocks road connecting Alo, Pasighat

A massive rock fell from the mountain and blocked the road connecting Alo and Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh late on the night of July 3. The incident took place after a landslide occurred at National Highway-13 near the Sangam Bridge in the Pillumukh area of the state’s East Siang district blocking traffic.

As per reports, hundreds of vehicles from both sides of the road were stranded since early morning. The administration has been working on removing the rock and clear the road however, latest reports from the ground are still awaited.
