"This is the portrait of Italy's Queen Margherita of Savoy. It was made by Francesco Moretti in 1881. Francesco Moretti decided to do it in order to take it to expositions and prove that this art is not just for churches but can also be used for portraits. He chose a figure whom everyone knew at the time."
