How To Drive a Boat : Basic Maneuvering in a Low Risk Environment

Using the same techniques my dad used when teaching me to drive allows you learn how boats operate differently than land vehicles.
**Of course, there are many ways to learn how to operate and feel free to share your kind/encouraging thoughts below, but this is just one way that I've found that can begin to give people confidence in the driver seat.**

This safe, low risk way is something I use when teaching people how to drive their boat. You've probably been in a marina, boat ramp, dock, beach, or pretty much anywhere people are boating and can see stress levels go up, and this is why new drivers shouldn't learn in these environments. If you're the person that doesn't like to get in the driver seat because you feel like you don't want to mess anything or anyone up, this could be for you.
