Sulliuscep Woodcutting Guide (110k+ xp/hr, BEST FOSSIL METHOD)

Sulliuscep mushroom trees on fossil island are one of the most rewarding methods of woodcutting training. These are more afk than non-tick manipulated teak trees, provide upwards of 100k woodcutting xp/hr and provide more profit than afking yew trees while also being the best source of fossils in the game.

For equipment, I recommend what I am wearing. The goal is to maximize woodcutting xp and prayer bonus. I wear the full lumberjack’s outfit, trimmed skillcape for prayer bonus (I wear the crafting cape for the bank teleport, an ardougne cloak 4 provides more prayer bonus if you have it), I use an infernal axe but that does not burn mushrooms so a dragon axe is effectively the same. I use the desert amulet 4 to restore my stats between trips, if you don’t have this you will want home teleport tabs, a construction cape or a ring of dueling. The rest of the gear provides prayer bonus, so fill those slots with the best prayer bonus gear you have. Hp skillcape and regen bracelet are also smart to bring if you have them as you will be damaged quite a bit throughout your runs.
My inventory includes numulite which you will receive a ton of and I simply keep in my inventory. You need a rake to remove vines that block your path, antipoison because the spine mushrooms poison you for 5 poison damage when they hit you. I also bring exactly 7 sharks, I’ve found When I use the 7th shark I have typically run out of prayer and end the trip. You will occasionally have to end trips early because you will get lucky and obtain too many fossils to carry. Finally you will need digsite pendants to teleport back to fossil island after ending a trip.
This method can easily pull 100-110k woodcutting xp if you fully pay attention. Because I like to afk quite a bit, I typically pull around 80k xp/hr. This is more xp than afking teaks and is actually less intensive, so I would never do teaks without tick manipulation as long as you have access to fossil island. I personally afked yew trees until I tried this method and found that sulliusceps are not only more profit, they are double the xp/hr of yews and provide tons of fossils, while being only a bit more intensive. Personally I would either use sulliusceps if you want to afk, or if you really want to step up the xp/hr you can tick manipulate teaks.
