"We are going to do a quickie composite. This is my subject and my background. I'm going to cut the subject out and put her on her new background. We do a quick mask. Select a mask and shift the edge of the subject to remove any details left behind by the old background. Hit OK and then paint back in any details that you'd like to preserve that the quick mask eliminated. We also want to refine the edge there by hand to remove any leftover details of the original backdrop. And we're refining the mask manually here. Then we match exposure of the subject to its background. And also match a little color of the subject to the background as well. Now we are going to create a little shadow behind the subject by burning the background. Creating atmosphere. And we are going to do a trick I like to call creating atmosphere on your subject. By painting a color from the background on top of your subject, turning it to screen mode, and lowering the opacity so she looks a little bit more realistically within her environment. Then we are going to use Generative Fill to create more of the dress as well as shadow so that she looks more realistically in her environment. It takes a little while. First one is OK. Second one, no, no. We'll go with the first one. It's just a quickie composite, so it's OK. Did some color grading, added a vignette, and a little grain for texture. And that's a quickie composite."
