The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean has a unidirectional rotating bezel with orange rubberized details. The watch has a sapphire crystal and a polished black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The diving scale of the bezel is crafted with Liquidmetal™.

The watch is water-resistant to 600 metres / 2000 feet and has a helium-escape valve. Beating inside is the calibre 8900 which can be seen through the transparent caseback. The movement is METAS certified.
