We take a quick look at attacking zones for volleyball. Our net is broken up into 9 zones, from left to right across the net.

When we talk about sets we talk about what zone the ball is going to land in (or be hit in) and then we talk about how high that set travels above the net.

A really high ball is roughly 4 feet above the net. Quick hits are typically 1 foot above the net.
