This is a long video, but it's worth sticking with because it covers lots of information and shows how I stacked several plugins to achieve Convincing Artificial Double-Tracking. 😊
It gets a bit nerdy before jumping into Reaper, so feel free to skip past the boring bits if you want to get straight to the practical stuff! 👍😁

Obviously, I used Reaper to demonstrate this, but it will work in any DAW. 👍

The biggest change to the artificial double-tracking is done using FREE plugins. 👏👏
I used one inexpensive plugin (TONEFORGE DI Match) but it works fine without this. The Cabinet IRs I used are also premium products, but there are thousands of amazing IRs out there for free - Look for the ToneHunt link I've added below.
