🔹 Today, I chaired a stakeholder consultation on the Scheme to Promote Manufacturing of Sintered Rare Earth Permanent Magnets (REPM), a ₹7,280 crore initiative to build an integrated domestic manufacturing ecosystem, in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of Hon’ble PM Shri ‪@NarendraModi‬ avaru.

🔸 The scheme aims to enable a domestic manufacturing capacity of 6,000 MTPA and combines sales-linked incentives with capital subsidy support for sustainable, long-term industry growth.

🟢 Over 20 industry stakeholders participated in the consultation. Their concerns and suggestions on the scheme notification were discussed in detail, and I assured ‪@ministryofheavyindustriesg8192‬ ’s full support for smooth and effective implementation.

🟣 To strengthen raw material security, it was highlighted that IREL will supply 500 MT of NdPr oxide per annum to selected beneficiaries. International suppliers also assured guaranteed supply of critical inputs.

🔵 Senior officials from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, including the Secretary and Joint Secretary, participated in the deliberations. The Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy (@DAEIndia) reaffirmed IREL’s commitment to the scheme.

🟠 The Technical Director of NMDC was also present and offered strategic and technical insights to strengthen policy outcomes.

🟡 The interaction was focused, constructive, and solution-oriented, with every valuable insight carefully noted to strengthen policymaking.

🔴 Discussions centred on implementation, industry preparedness, and long-term sustainability to position India as a global hub for advanced magnet manufacturing.
