Описание к видео Unmanned Surface Vessel Targets are Essential for Naval Weapons Training - This one gets Blown Away!

Witness the power and precision of modern naval warfare in this exclusive Go Bold video of the Hammerhead Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) target, which we filmed from HMCS Regina during Exercise Trident Fury 2025.

Exercise Trident Fury 2025 brings together Canadian, allied and partner warships in a realistic training environment, and the footage you're about to see captures the intensity and coordination required in modern maritime combat.

Used by the Royal Canadian Navy, the Hammerhead USV target is a state-of-the-art, high-speed hit-to-kill training platform designed to simulate Fast In-Shore Attack Craft (FIAC) threats. These fast, maneuvering boats pose serious challenges to warships, and the Hammerhead is a vital tool for preparing naval forces to counter them effectively. This type of training is how the Navy hones tactics, validates sensors, and perfects its weapon systems.

💥 Don't miss this rare look at how today's navies prepare for threats.

👉 In this video, you’ll see:
What the Hammerhead USV target is and how it’s used
The launch of the Hammerhead from HMCS Regina
Live-fire sequences from HMCS Regina of USS John Paul Jones, and ARM Benito Juárez shooting at the Hammerhead.
The dramatic destruction of the Hammerhead by naval gunfire
