How to Make a Lower Calorie Meatloaf for Weight Loss

In this week’s episode of Lower Calorie Kitchen, I make my favorite version of meatloaf. Again, we swap out some of the ingredients for lower-calorie options to make this something we can enjoy anytime, without feeling guilty or waiting for a cheat meal, cause really, who wants meatloaf for a cheat meal?

My Lower Calorie Meatloaf
6 servings

· 2 pounds 96/4 ground beef
· 17 saltine crackers
· 1 egg
· 1 cup half & half
· 1/2 cup ketchup
· 2 tbsp dried minced onion
· 1 tsp salt
· 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
· 1/2 tsp garlic powder
· 2 tbsp Truvia brown sugar blend
· 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
3. Put mixture into a 5 x 9 loaf pan and spread evenly.
4. Bake for 1.5 hours.
5. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Fat 12g
