Experience A Baby Monkey Orphanage In South Africa - Ep. 1

The Vervet Forest - Episode 1 - We learn about the foster mother program for orphan baby vervet monkeys at the vegan non profit animal rescue center The Vervet Monkey Foundation. Every year from the months of October to March is baby season and countless baby vervet monkeys arrive at our monkey orphanage in need of families and compassionate care. Follow their journeys and get to know the personalities and behaviors of this years first two orphans - Groot and Joli who are full of life and just want to play, cry, drink milk, and be cared for by people who dedicate their lives to saving animals.

This show is a follow up to our hit wildlife documentary that aired on National Geographic as "Little Monkey House" Check your local listings for future air dates.

The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation . The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover, loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.
