RF running day organised by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society on 24th March 2019. This event commemorated the 40th anniversary of the withdrawal of London Transport's RF class buses in March 1979 from routes 218 & 219, RF class AEC Regal IV's with Metro-Cammell bodywork buses were running on several routes in the Weybridge, Kingston, Staines, Walton and Cobham areas. A few of today's buses are included, it is interesting to see how much bigger the buses of today are in comparison with the RF's.
