Approach and Landing at Lauriston Airport (TGPZ), Carriacou, Grenada, West Indies in a Cessna 182 (Skylane). Much of the approach was riddled with mechanical turbulence generated by the mountains. The flight originated from Grenada at Maurice Bishop International Airport (TGPY). Union Island (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) is visible to the north. Field elevation at Lauriston is 1.5m (5 ft). Runway 09 was in use. This landing occurred long before the strike of Hurricane Beryl on Carriacou and the neighboring Grenadines (2024).
