Описание к видео ENDANGERED OBRY in Orangeville May 25 2021! Switching the yard, switching Rochling &crossing John st

On the morning of Tuesday May 25, I managed to capture some video footage of the Endangered OBRY (Orangeville Brampton Railway) short line working in its namesake town Orangeville ON before making its twice a week trip 36 miles south to CP.

So anyhow in this video here, first I offer a quick scene of 333 shunting the Orangeville Yard by Townline road as they dig out today’s 2 loads to take north to Rochling Engineering Plastics by Broadway rd.

After the yard next place we see the OBRY is at John st and I actually managed to get the train going both ways over this crossing as they made their way to and from Rochling.

After John st I then offer a view of 333 switching Rochling itself at Broadway rd and in the video we just see 333 pulling a stash of 5 hoppers off of Rochlings spur and spotting today’s empty on the main only before backing down their spur one last time to re-spot the cars which are still loaded & also deliver today’s 2 new loads which were the first 2 hoppers seen behind 333 at the Broadway rd crossing.

Best for last, my last clip of 333 from today is the train leaving the Orangeville town itself, crossing @Duffern County rd 109 as they officially begin their 36 mile trip south to CP in Mississauga which is where they’ll then give today’s empty’s from Orangeville back to CP.

*Currently this local short line is filed for abandonment and as of this present day.. all operations along the very last 36 miles of the former CPR Owensound Subdivision are said to cease entirely by December 31 2021...
