Описание к видео Rogersville Funeral Home - Craig Wells Memorial

Craig E. Wells, 63, of Nashville passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. Craig Eugene Wells was born on October 30th, 1953, to Bobby Joe and Majetta Wells in Waynesville, North Carolina. Shortly after graduating high school, Craig entered the army. After serving one tour in Vietnam, he was injured and was honorably discharged. Craig always had a love for country music. Craig followed his passion for country singing and playing guitar across four decades. He always wanted to become a well-known country music singer. He played all kinds of gigs at bars and local venues, but he never made it big. To support his music career, Craig did construction and factory work. His favorite thing to do was jam out with his friends, go shooting, fishing, having cook-outs, and to just enjoy the outdoors. He loved chocolate covered raisins and Mt. Dew. He was always a mountain boy, born and raised into a mountain man. His nickname was "Cowboy," which all his friends called him by. If you called him Mr. Wells, then he would correct you and say that wasn't him, that was his father. Craig "Cowboy" Wells was best known for his contagious smile, free spirit, kind heart, and his signature black cowboy hat he wore everywhere he went.
Craig "Cowboy" Wells is preceded in death by his father Bobby Joe Wells and his sister Sheila Doreen Wells. He is survived by his mother, Majetta Wells, his niece Dawn Majetta Moody, and his two great-nephews Isaac Merrick Wade and Faolan Victor Moody.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 15th, 2017 from 2 – 3 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
