I teach math in a way that's laid back and fun, not scary and hard, to show students that math can be interested and exciting and much easier than they think!

Here’s what’s included in the Mindful Math curriculum:

-Lesson plans for parent led lessons AND student led lessons so you can choose if you’d like to be the teacher or if you’d like your student to work independently.
-Full teacher guides that walk parents step by step through each lesson and how to teach it, if you choose to follow the parent led lesson plans (with video demonstrations if needed!), along with all resources parents would need to teach the lesson.
-Interactive video lessons for every topic, each with an accompanying worksheet that students fill in as they watch, if you choose to follow the student led lesson (or parents and students can also watch and go through the video lesson together if you choose!).
-Fun review games with each lesson that students can play on their own or with friends and family to practice what they learn.
-Optional practice assignments for students to do between lessons for extra practice if you choose.
-Optional assessments at the end of each unit that you can choose to have your student do if you’d like to get an idea of their progress on that topic.
-All answer keys you and your student will need to check their work and make sure they’re on the right track!

What makes Mindful Math so flexible?

-You are provided with many different components for each lesson (a warm up, a lesson, practice problems, a review game, optional practice assignments, and IXL sections associated with the topic) and you can pick and choose which components you’d like to use to create the perfect lesson tailored to you and your student’s needs.
-You decide how long you or your student will spend on each lesson. You can cut parts out, spread it out over multiple days, get the whole lesson done in one day, do one unit per month, or choose to do multiple units per month! It’s totally up to you and can be done around any lifestyle or schedule!
-Your student can learn in whatever way works best for them! You can teach them the lesson yourself, you can have them watch the video independently, or you can watch it with them and teach along with the video!
-Each unit is separate so you can switch between levels in a school year if you need to instead of committing to one level for the whole year. If your student needs more practice on a topic, they can move down a level. If they are more advanced in a certain topic, they can choose to do the next level up for that unit.
