Just one of those days I'd rather forget as will be revealed in the video.
I only decided to upload this video to prove the saying.......
'If at first you don't succeed, try again', so I did...... and failed again!!
First, the classic: Forget you're still on record then turn on (but off) again & film absolutely NOTHING!
My original plan was to record the arrival on P11 then catch a service on P12 to Five Ways for the departure. However, 37240 was fouling the points at rear and I didn't have time to change platforms and obviously became less focused on the main event....... It was a lovely departure too Lol!!

I returned for the late arrival and hopefully the ECS departure to Tyseley in order to amend the situation but with a lack of foreward planning.
I realised that my last train departed at 21.50 but Bahamas was scheduled at 21.52.. Duh!! So, I had no alternative but to walk away ...... Well more run actually to board my train with seconds to spare.

Also, nice to chat with Shaun who was simply waiting for a train and saw his first steam loco up close & personal..... and liked it.
