I found this solid cedar chest for just $25 at a thrift store, and it turned out to be a true heirloom piece! In this video, I walk you through the full restoration process—cleaning, sanding, colour-correcting with a custom paint wash, staining, and sealing with hemp oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. This chest had some surprises along the way, including a broken key, castors I had to rethink, and even handwritten names on the bottom!
