DreamWorks' New Movie Is An Apology For Megamind 2...

It seems DreamWorks couldn't stand being the internet's punching bag for very long. Just DAYS after the dreadful release of Megamind 2 (Vs The Doom Syndicate) and now there's a new movie to talk about. FAR better in execution and care. This one is a proper DreamWorks movie. Getting a full theatrical release, with the new Puss In Boot The Last Wish asthetic, and it seems to be one with a lot of emotion weight behind it. From the New York Bestselling book of the same name by Peter Brown, it's time to venture back to the idea of a kind robot surrounded by nature. A sweet and simple premise that we... totally haven't seen before. Not in Iron Giant. Or Wall-E. Or heck, even Overwatch did it once.. So is this just a cliche safe story, adapted from a book so as to not even be an original struggle for DreamWorks to put together? Or is it simple fun that we can all enjoy, ensuring a quality that can strike us in the heart in a way films haven't done in years? I guess we'll see.
