Niramish Aloo'r Dum Bengali Recipe | Easy Aloo Dum without Onion & Garlic | Bhoger Alur Dom

Описание к видео Niramish Aloo'r Dum Bengali Recipe | Easy Aloo Dum without Onion & Garlic | Bhoger Alur Dom

Alu'r dom is the Bengali avatar of the popular Indian dish of spicy curried potatoes, commonly known as ‘aloo dum’ or ‘dum aloo’ (the Kashmiri aloo dum is perhaps its most famous variant). Prepared in Bengal during the winter months using newly harvested baby potatoes or ‘notun aloo’, aloo dum is best enjoyed with luchi, koraishuti’r kochuri, polao, fried rice, or porota. This simple recipe shows you how to make Bengali niramish aloo dum, the vegetarian version. Since it is prepared without the use of onion or garlic, it can be served as 'bhog'.

This Bengali niramish aloo dum recipe is not strictly traditional, but our take on it. It produces juicy aloo’r dom with a dry gravy that is rich and indulgent, and ready to be mopped up with a piece of light, fluffy luchi.
