Reverse light switch - X Type Jaguar

Run through opening the rear light cluster, checking the fuses then replacing a faulty reverse switch on a 2008 2.0l diesel X-Type Jaguar.
I lost the sensors and both lights at the same time, first thought was a fuse. The bulbs were easy to check but I don't think a single bulb going would knock everything else out?
A new switch was £6 from ebay and arrived in a couple of days.
