Crown Fountain at Millennium Park by Crystal Fountains - Chicago, Illinois, USA

Standing watch over Millennium Park for over a decade, Crown Fountain has grown into one of Chicago’s most recognizable landmarks. Envisioned by Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa, Crown fountain is a unique blend of art piece, water feature and public space, helping attract over 5 million visitors annually to the city’s waterfront. We are proud to have acted as water feature consultants on this job and contributed to the creation of its custom gargoyle spout effects.
The fountain has truly become part of the surrounding community as both an interactive play destination and a representation of Chicago’s citizens, over 100 of whom have their faces prominently displayed on its 50 foot high LED screens. Crown Fountain’s longevity and popularity are a testament to what can be achieved with the proper vision, team, and hard work; and iconic project that will continue to have a lasting impact on a space for years to come.
