A war of light broke out in the sky,
Michael led, evil reduced.
Angels at his side, the dragon he faced,
The glory of the Lord upon him shone.

"Who is like God?" the cry went up,
The enemy trembled, the abyss called him.
With divine strength and sovereign justice,
Michael advanced with sword in hand.
