I wanted a simple hotkey feature for Google Tasks that didn't exist – and Google wasn't going to add it. So I built it myself using Go and Wails!
In this video, I show you how I created a custom popup application that lets you quickly add tasks to Google Tasks with just a keyboard shortcut. No more switching tabs or opening your browser every time you need to note something down.

Turns out I accidentally recreated a simpler version of Raycast... but hey, at least now I have the feature I wanted!
